Zissou is a truly talented photographer with a serious eye for design, and his custom-built website shows it. The back end gives him fine control over image display, sorting and sizing, as well as showing and hiding sections for clients and casual visitors.

Monk Oil

Monk Oil is a protective ‘skin potion’ made in Brooklyn, New York. Their site is a single-page, hand-coded with no CMS or templates. Clean, simple, and equally at home on a smartphone, laptop or monitor… as it should be!

CL Sterling & Son

CL Sterling are a boutique lighting manufacturer with offices in New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. The website is fully custom-designed and serves as a product catalog to designers and their clients, with a shallow login for viewing technical data and downloading tear-sheets.

Located in Seminyak, Bali, Jemme is a fusion of fine dining and jewelry store, and their website serves the dual purpose of online catalog and at-your-fingertips booking engine. Smartly designed by Amber Johnsey and Lisa Tan, the Jemme website has an extensively customized back end to facilitate the easy posting and rearranging of content.

Instant Rockstar

After a righteous refresh of brand and product design by Zissou, I was called in to set up Melbourne-based Instant Rockstar’s new site. The custom theme, by Get Bowtied, got some serious tweaks for enabling both wholesale and retail customers to place and track their orders.

Peter F. Carlson

Interior designer Peter Carlson’s portfolio site and blog are designed to showcase his completed and ongoing projects, respectively. The front page is a gallery of key images, each linking to a full project gallery. The touch-capable image sliders are equally at home on mobile phones and big desktop monitors.

Showcasing a brilliant logo and packaging design by Zissou, the Ned site is a fully capable online store the for discerning beard wearer (there’s also a rockin’ beards blog… if you’re into that sort of thing).

Soma Helmi

This custom WordPress theme offers photographer and filmmaker Soma Helmi the ability to showcase her still images and videos side-by-side. Galleries stack thumbnail images in rows the way Google Image Search does, with a distraction-free light box effect on larger screens.
